In celebration of the appointment of SmarText as INVISTA Apparel & Advanced Textiles Business’s distributor for LYCRA® fiber, LYCRA® T400® fiber, THERMOLITE® fiber and COOLMAX® fiber in the India market, key players from the local textile industry value chain were invited to attend the “LYCRA® fiber Technique” event held on February 3rd, 2016 at the Hotel Le Meridien in Bangalore.

During the “LYCRA® fiber Technique” event, visitors have had the chance to meet INVISTA senior executives as well as the sales representatives from SmarText. Business ideas were actively exchanged; interests and business development opportunities with INVISTA’s fibers and technologies were widely discussed.
SmarText is headed by INVISTA’s former well experienced employees. The experience of INVISTA products, technologies and the knowledge of marketplace they bring will ensure the smooth transfer of client relationships and rapid development of new business opportunities. The company’s 2,200 square feet headquarter in Bangalore includes an innovation studio set up to showcase the latest INVISTA fiber technologies and fabric innovations. Besides access to INVISTA’s commercial and technical resources, SmarText is also planning to recruit a technical representative in the near future to further strengthen its on-site service and to assist customers to develop new technology platforms offered by INVISTA.
Through collaboration with strong suppliers and its connection to influential downstream brands, SmarText works with local industry players to drive development of yarns, fabrics, all the way to garment end-uses, to enable more Indian consumers to experience the benefits of INVISTA innovations.
